Call of Duty®: Mobile - Garena unveils first Battle Royale Major with $40,000 USD prize pool

Singapore, September 8 2026 – Call of Duty®: Mobile – Garena today announced the Call of Duty®: Mobile Garena Battle Royale Cup 2026 (COD:M GBRC 2026), its first-ever Battle Royale Major, featuring a $40,000 USD prize pool.

The tournament will culminate in an offline Grand Finals in Manila, Philippines, on November 7 and 8, where 10 teams will compete for the championship title. The lineup will feature seven teams from Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines, one representative from Indonesia, one from Thailand, and one representing Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau.

For teams in Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines, the road to Manila begins with open registration and progresses through the following stages:

1. Registration (8 to 21 September): Players can register in teams of 4 to 5. Registration closes at 11.59PM (GMT+8) on 21 September.
2. Qualifiers (26 September to 4 October): Teams will compete in a single-elimination format, with one round per map.
3. Group Stage (10 to 11 October): 40 teams will be drawn into four groups of 10. The top five from each group will advance, leaving 20 teams in the Playoffs.
4. Playoffs (17 to 18 October): The 20 remaining teams will compete across eight maps, with the seven highest-ranked teams advancing to the Grand Finals.
5. Grand Finals (November 7 and 8): Finalists will compete across up to 12 maps over two days under the new EndGame Protocol. Teams must first reach a designated points threshold to become championship-eligible, then win a map to claim the title. The tournament ends as soon as an eligible team secures a map win.

Dedicated to the game’s popular Battle Royale mode, the inaugural tournament gives players a new pathway from open competition to a major regional stage. The Grand Finals will also mark the second offline regional Call of Duty: Mobile – Garena tournament hosted in the Philippines this year, following the Garena Summer Invitational 2026 in May.
