Singapore, July 7 2026 – With Free Fire at the 2026 Esports World Cup (Free Fire at EWC 26) set to begin on 15 July in Paris, France, 24 teams from Southeast Asia, Latin America and Brazil, South Asia, the Middle East and Africa, and the United States are preparing to compete for a share of the USD 1 million prize pool.
Across four days of competition, one team will be crowned the next Free Fire at EWC champion. Alongside the lion's share of the prize pool, the champion will also earn direct qualification to the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Global Finals 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand — the culmination of the annual Free Fire esports season.
From 15 to 18 July, Free Fire at EWC 26 will unfold across three stages — the Group Stage, Survival Stage, and Grand Finals. Following the two-day Group Stage, the top eight teams will advance directly to the Grand Finals, while teams ranked fifth to tenth in each group will compete in the Survival Stage for the remaining four places. The tournament will conclude with the 12-team Grand Finals, where the Champion Rush format will determine the champion.
Fans and players can also look forward to a series of in-game activations celebrating the tournament. Players can build their dream lineup in the 2026 EWC Fantasy event and earn rewards based on real tournament performances, while server-wide events will unlock exclusive Esports World Cup-themed collectibles—including a baseball bat, cap, and championship jersey—as teams progress through the competition.
Free Fire at EWC 26 will be broadcast across all four days, beginning at 12:30 PM (UTC+2) daily.
