Singapore, August 26 2026 – Today, Monster Hunter Outlanders, a mobile survival hunting action RPG licensed and supervised by Capcom, developed by TiMi Studio Group, and published by Garena across Southeast Asia, revealed its brand-new original monster — the Elder Dragon "Ruger Aidal" — on stage at the world-renowned gaming expo gamescom 2026.
Following the launch of pre-registration on the official website, players can now also pre-register on the App Store and Google Play, ahead of their chance to take on the imposing Elder Dragon and uncover its connection to the mysteries of Aesoland.
Meet Ruger Aidal, Monster Hunter Outlanders’ first original Elder Dragon
Ruger Aidal is Monster Hunter Outlanders’ flagship monster and the first original Elder Dragon to appear in the game. Adorned with enormous wings that shine brilliantly like arrows of light, Ruger Aidal resembles a sun suspended in the sky. Sightings are exceedingly rare, and tales of the creature have long been passed down among the people of Aesoland.
In the trailer unveiled today, the adventurers spot a mysterious aurora before sensing an approaching monster. Ruger Aidal then appears, wreathed in golden and iridescent light. After gazing down at the adventurers, it becomes enveloped in an orb resembling a second sun before unleashing a powerful burst of light and heat that scorches the surrounding landscape.

Familiar monsters from the series will also appear in their Radiant forms
The effects of Ruger Aidal’s presence are not limited to the environment. The Radiant Particles it releases also affect the monsters on the island, transforming them into “Radiant” species that differ in both appearance and behavior.
Additionally, classic monsters from the Monster Hunter series will appear on Aesoland, including familiar faces such as Rathalos, Rathian, Diablos, Kushala Daora, Anjanath, and Nergigante. Some will appear in their Radiant forms, presenting players with an entirely new challenge.
Pre-registration expands to the App Store and Google Play
Players can now pre-register for Monster Hunter Outlanders on the App Store or Google Play to be notified when the game launches.
Players can also participate in the ongoing pre-registration and community milestone campaigns by pre-registering for the game and following the official Monster Hunter Outlanders social media accounts. Once the designated milestones are reached, all players will receive 20 Standard Contracts, the SR Adventurer "Raya," and other rewards after launch.
