Singapore, 3 June 2026 — Arena of Valor (AoV) Premier League (APL) 2026 returns this June, bringing together top teams from across the region. Hosted across Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang, this year’s tournament unfolds under the banner “Valor Rises, Battles Collide,” reflecting both the ambition of participating teams and a mix of formats and activities beyond the main stage.
The flagship mid-year event also aims to strengthen connections between the competitive scene and the content creator community, supporting a more integrated ecosystem for players, creators, and fans. Alongside the core tournament, it will feature 1v1 matchups, a dedicated women’s competition, and community activities, bringing different layers of play into a single, unified experience. Together, these initiatives position APL 2026 as a summer celebration of AoV esports.
As the action unfolds on stage, APL 2026 will come to life in-game. For the first time in AoV history, the July Valor Pass will take on an esports theme inspired by the tournament, giving players a new way to celebrate APL beyond the arena. The upcoming APL 2026 Valor Pass will feature the exclusive Raz “APL Valor” and Iggy “APL Valor” skins, inspired by the energy and spectacle of AoV esports. An exclusive APL 2026 tournament skin will also be introduced, with further details to be announced.
Road to the Finals: Tournament Structure and Key Dates
16 teams will compete in the main APL event, with four teams each from Arena of Glory (AOG), RoV Premier League (RPL), and the Garena Challenger Series (GCS), alongside four teams advancing from the Wildcard stage.
APL 2026 began with the online Wildcard Stage from 21 to 25 May, where eight teams from AOG, RPL, GCS, and AoV Star League (ASL) battled through a double-elimination format. Four teams — One Star Esports, Cathay ONE Team, Hong Kong Attitude, and Bacon Time — emerged to advance to the 16-team Swiss Stage, joining 12 seeded teams — FPT x Flash, Saigon Phantom, FPT Polytechnic, and GAM Esports from AOG; Buriram United Esports, Full Sense, King of Gamers, and Club Solyx Esports from RPL; and Relove Deep Cross Gaming, Wanin Flash Wolves, ANK Gaming, and Banmei Gaming from GCS.
The competition now moves offline to Ho Chi Minh City for the Swiss Stage from 18 to 28 June, following the matchup draw on 9 June. Across this stage, all 16 teams will compete for a place in the Knockout Stage, with only eight teams progressing to the playoffs.
The Knockout Stage will run from 4 to 18 July, beginning with the Quarterfinals and Lower Bracket Semifinals from 4 to 12 July, followed by the Lower Bracket Finals and Upper Bracket Final on 18 July. From there, the final two teams will advance to the Grand Final in Da Nang on 19 July, where the APL 2026 champion will be crowned.
Expanding the Arena: New Competitions and Fan Activities
APL 2026 will also feature an expanded lineup of competitive formats alongside the main tournament. This includes a 1v1 tournament on 13 and 14 June, where 16 players will compete in a single-elimination bracket following a draw on 9 June.
The highly anticipated APL Female Showdown will run from 1 to 19 July, beginning with the Group Stage and culminating in a best-of-seven Grand Final held on the same day as the main event final. Bringing together the top women’s teams from AOG, RPL, and GCS following their domestic competitions in Spring 2026, the dedicated tournament showcases the region’s rising female talent and marks another step forward for women’s AoV esports.
APL 2026 will be livestreamed on the official AoV YouTube, Facebook, TikTok channels, as well as Valor TV. Stay tuned for the latest AoV news on Facebook and YouTube.
